Mais d'un côté, Dismalimerence étire le temps avec un black metal mélodique et progressif qui multiplie les mouvements. De l'autre, Sadness qui nous fait ressentir la lumière pure avec un post-rock énergique (Nila Ojeda apporte tellement d'enthousiasme !) et même brûlant sur la deuxième piste, au point où on se dire que ça passe beaucoup trop vite. Resplendance est une parenthèse temporelle. Favorite track: Details In Numbercolor.

Luke It's been exciting to see these splits evolve a little beyond "other bands that sound like Sadness". Dismalimerence play emotional black metal which reminds me a lot the raw urgency of some of the UK crust scene. Sadness, as ever, are full of surprises. Not least the killer vocal performance of Nila Ojeda (another one!), followed by one of the most scorching moments in a Sadness song in the closer.
