Rose / Lavender

Visual Complexity

Visual Complexity Two long and emotional songs is all you get and all you ever need on this album. "Rose" is more of a chaotic song, while "Lavender" is more of a slow melancholic journey. I also love the artwork, which perfectly sums up the feelings that'll surface in this trip. Favorite track: Lavender.

Caleb Bratcher Too often atmospheric black metal comes with mediocre and stereotypical vocals. Artists and bands try to pull off the haunting, wretched vibe by doing the same thing everyone else has done for the past 30 years and it just doesn't work anymore. This artist manages to throw that all aside with the almost choir-like vocals that really give some depth to the music. Sadness excels at really making the metal beautiful instead of simple chaos. Favorite track: Lavender.

Valfaun deeply depressive, melodic, cathartic;
"Rose" hurts in the best way possible Favorite track: Rose.
